1. Scope of work
Our services include strategic consulting, brand positioning, visual direction, messaging, and related creative advisory support. The specific deliverables and timeline are agreed in writing before work begins.
We will do our best to meet the goals described in the brief, but outcomes depend on the clarity, speed, and participation of the client team as well as the information and access provided.
2. Billing and payment
Angle The Agency bills at a standard rate of $75 per hour unless otherwise agreed in writing. We track time in reasonable increments and provide a straightforward summary of work performed.
Payment is due according to the terms agreed during the engagement. If a session is booked, it is treated as a paid engagement for specific time and scope as described at the time of booking.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients are expected to provide clear context, timely feedback, and access to relevant information, stakeholders, or assets needed for the project. Delays caused by client-side turnaround, unclear priorities, or missing information may affect timeline and total effort.
4. Intellectual property
Work created for a client remains the property of the client once payment is made in full and deliverables are accepted as described in the engagement. We may retain general knowledge, methods, and processes used in the course of our work, unless otherwise agreed.
Any third-party materials, source files, tools, or stock assets used during a project remain subject to their own licenses and rights.
5. Confidentiality
We will handle confidential information with care and use it only to support the agreed work. We will not disclose sensitive information to third parties except when required by law or necessary to complete the engagement.
6. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claims related to the work is limited to the fees actually paid for the specific engagement, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of business, reputational harm, or similar losses, unless explicitly agreed in writing.
7. Changes and cancellations
Client-initiated changes to scope, direction, or timing may require a revised plan and additional time. We will communicate clearly when a requested change affects cost, timeline, or deliverables.
We appreciate prompt scheduling and communication. If a session is canceled or rescheduled, we will work within the terms agreed at the time of booking.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless another governing arrangement is specifically agreed in writing.
